Lamellar Sedimentator
The lamellar sedimentator is a complete system for the sedimentation of solids suspended in the water.
The surface of these decanters is made from a lamellar pack, parallel and inclined.
They are modular and they can work either in parallel or in series.
The sewage enters from the top side of the decanter and it is conveyed towards below.
The flow through the inclined surfaces allows to the solids to be separated from liquid by gravity.
The solids are separated in the bottom side shaped as a reserved pyramid.
In the top side the sewage is collected without solids. Main advantages are: to have a large number of surfaces in order to separate liquid from solid and to decrease significantly the necessary surface required for a certain flow rate of sewage.
Further advantage is the versatility in any application.
